BEST CAFE EVER. Dan is so nice and easygoing and always makes sure I leave satisfied. The food is incredible, the soup IS as good as everyone says, and that is from someone who does not like tomatoes, and the desserts are always delicious. The coffee is pretty amazing, too.

Stopped by after seeing them on the local news. A MUST place to stop by. Their soup is amazing and they have homemade sandwiches, dessert and Cheesecake Factory cheesecake. Please support this great place. Worth the drive to Laurelwood.

How have I gone three years without the Java Garden’s famous red pepper soup! I came here twice within the past week and brought along two first-time soup tasters, and they were very impressed. Now that they are closer to where I live, I will not be letting their soup go out of my sight again.

This gem of a café in Laurelwood is one of the happiest parts of my day. Great coffee, food is fabulous and the soup is delicious. Love that they are now creating made-to-order gift baskets. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Great spot for lunch. Amazing food. Famous for delicious roasted red pepper tomato soup. Also definitely recommend the tea biscuits and the seafood melt. Great prices. You can tell the food is homemade. Relaxed atmosphere. Personable staff.

My boyfriend and I recently visited the Java Garden and we absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was perfect, the coffees came out quick and delicious, and the cheesecake was to die for. The staff was professional and very helpful. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Had the signature soup-and-sandwich lunch deal. Had to return the next day to buy soup to take home so everyone there would believe my delicious raves. Service with a laugh. Will return again and again.

This cafe is a little gem. The food is great and the owner Dan Dudack is a very engaging and welcoming host. The signature red pepper and tomato soup is amazing, my two friends and I bought eight jars to bring home.

My daughters and I discovered this quaint little cafe in 2015 while attending the Ontario Volleyball Association provincial championships. We drove seven hours to get back, and it was worth every kilometre. We bought three jars of soup to bring home and recommended it to everyone on the team.
