Catering · Gift Baskets · Soup-by-the-Jar

Bring the cafe to your office, your party, your inbox.

Five-star regulars order our soup by the jar. Local offices order Monday-morning trays. Around the holidays, the gift baskets go out the door faster than we can tie them. All of it is built by the same hands that run the cafe.

A small Danish touch

The same hands that built the cafe build your order.

Owner Dan Dudack and a small team prepare every catering order. The soup is simmered the same morning. The smørrebrød is plated by hand. The gift baskets are tied with cloth ribbon. It is not a production line. It feels like the cafe, because it is the cafe.

Frequently asked

Practical questions, answered.

Anything we missed, ask Dan.

Call 519-883-0105
How much notice do you need?
For most catering orders, 48 to 72 hours is ideal. Smørrebrød boards and large gift baskets need about three days. We do our best with rush requests, just call.
Do you deliver?
Pick-up is straightforward at 600 Laurelwood Drive. For deliveries inside Waterloo, Laurelwood, Kitchener, or Cambridge, we will quote a flat fee tied to the order.
Can you handle dietary restrictions?
Yes. Vegetarian and vegan options run across the menu, and we can build a gluten-free package on request. Tell us what you need and we will adapt.
How do I order soup by the jar?
Call 519-883-0105 or send a note via the contact form. We will tell you what is in the pot, take your jar count, and have it ready for pickup the day you need it.
Do you do gift baskets for clients or holidays?
Yes, especially around year-end and corporate appreciation moments. Tell us your recipient list, your budget, and any food preferences. We hand-tie each one.

One more thing

Send us your event. We will write you back today.

Email, phone, contact form. Whichever is easiest. The cafe answers within a day, almost always same-day during business hours.
